What You’ll Do

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at PhysioWorks, you will work closely with supervising Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality treatment plans focused on restoring function, reducing pain, and helping patients return to meaningful activities.

You will assist patients throughout their rehabilitation journey while helping maintain a safe and supportive clinical environment.

Education: professional certificate

Qualifications:

  • Current Washington State Physical Therapist Assistant license required
  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required
  • Ability to maintain continuing education requirements for PTA licensure
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform prolonged standing and sitting activities
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Administer therapy treatments according to Physical Therapist plans of care
  • Monitor patient response and communicate significant changes to supervising Physical Therapists
  • Provide input regarding treatment progression, goals, and discharge planning
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and recovery
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress
  • Safely operate therapy equipment and treatment devices
  • Perform stretching, soft tissue techniques, and manual interventions within PTA scope of practice
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment areas and equipment
  • Assist with administrative and clerical responsibilities as needed
  • Support a positive and professional clinical environment
