Tenetta Walker graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Pima Medical Institute in early 2019, and is currently working on her Bachelor of Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Management from Western Governors University. Her background as a multi-sport athlete with various injuries and rehabilitating a knee surgery is a driving force behind her passion to help people return to their prior activities.
Tenetta enjoys working with a wide range of patient populations, using manual techniques as well as functional exercises and therapeutic activities to return patients to optimal levels of function. Her experience includes pre and postoperative care, vestibular and balance disorders, musculoskeletal pain, return to sport, and work conditioning. She has taken several continuing education courses to gain further knowledge on orthopedic pathologies, return to work, Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFR, BFRT) Certified, Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics and pain neuroscience.
When not in the clinic, Tenetta enjoys hiking and camping with her fiancé and dog, skiing, softball, basketball, swimming and horseback riding.
